May 27, 2012 – Pastor Tim – “Faith That Sees” – Click to download
The Word of God is the seed, which, like all seed, when it is put into good ground, has the power to do its own work.
Satan cannot hinder the “seed” from doing its work unless we allow him to get the seed out of the ground—out of our attention, out of our looking/sight.
Since God has provided the promises, we should dismiss from our minds the slightest thought of that God will fail to fulfill the promises.
Faith is the most rational thing in the world, because it is based on the greatest of facts and realities. It sees God; it sees Calvary where disease and sin were canceled. It sees the promises of God and His faithfulness, which are more certain than the foundations of a mountain.
Faith acts accordingly to the Word of God. What the eye of faith sees, the hand of faith appropriates, saying, “This is mine by virtue of the promise of God.” Faith refuses to see anything but God and what He says.
