This weekend is going to be a joyful time to reflect on 2011 and welcome in 2012.
First up on Saturday, December 31, at 7pm. We will be having our annual New Years Eve Candlelight Service.
This isn’t an ordinary service by candlelight. The entire time will be that of testimonies of what God has done in each our lives this year. To reiterate from past years, a testimony is not a time to give the devil the credit of all the bad stuff that has happened and then tag on at the last part that God pulled you thru. God is great at helping us through hard times and that is amazing. This service is a time to point out the great things God has done. Essentially focusing on the positive, good points. Some of you may think you don’t have any good points to share. However if you look hard enough, there were always situations and times God was either encouraging you or teaching you.
This service is one of the best experiences of the year. It is possibly the greatest way to prepare your mind and soul and inspire you for the new year.
Then on Sunday our regular worship service time will be at 11am. Another great way to start off 2012 by worshiping together with other believers and focusing yourself on God.
We look forward to seeing you this weekend.
