Passage: Colossians 1:1-14
Intro: How would you feel if you knew Paul was praying for you?
- Giving thanks to God for you.
- Praying non-stop to God for you.
- How confident in Christ would you feel?
Transition: Let’s Get Crazy With Our Faith!
- Pray this prayer for Living Water every day this week!
- Believe that God hears and is going to answer this prayer!
Examining the Prayer:
- We are known! And we are appreciated!
- Paul gave thanks for their love for God and others!
- God spoke this prayer to us through Paul and the Colossian church.
- There are people outside of this church praying for us daily!
- There is a purpose to our lives and Living Water.
- To live a life worthy of Jesus.
- To be pleasing to God in every way.
- To be like Christ.
James 1:22-24
- We are emulating a Champion!
- We have faith for all situations.
- We have joy in all that God does for us.
- We are Qualified for His Kingdom.
Closing: The Rescuer has arrived.
- There is a Dominion/Kingdom of Darkness.
- Our inheritance is in our Redeemer.
Prayer: To have the confidence that comes from our Champion!
